History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Dean grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. As a young adult she joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Bellfounder.
