He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She tends to her Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Herleva alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Regain custody of her daughter; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
