Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Arnold and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor; and he is content

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Maynild embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Maynild was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Maynild's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world.

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath his coat. His hair, while still mostly silver, has prominent grey streaks. His gray eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his poetry with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. He has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and doesn't want to be a marshal and was forced into it by his family
