When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Rohesia never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.

She then took over the family business and is one of the better Mason for hire.
