Description: A 5'8" eastern man, he is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright grey and black, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems. His black hair is greasy and uncared for. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. The war was a terrible time for him, and Anselm does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Born in the east to a Bookbinder, Anselm learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Bookbinder job and began his own company from there.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. She is obsessed with her god.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her father impaled in their home, and her mother beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: He is a sleazy, sleazy guy. He has no qualms about using his powers of suggestion to get people to do what he wants. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bernard was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal

Description: He wears a black cloak and cross-gartered green stockings. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He lacks restraint and is impulsive. He jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: Alexandre lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers.
