History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emeny grew up listening to her father's many stories. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Matilda was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. At a young age both her parents were killed in an accident. Her uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took her in and had her trained in basic self defense. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: Born in the east to a Assassin, Shane learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his arcane talents. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.
