Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Geva was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the illithids.

She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bowyer for the past few years.
