History: Lance lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. As a young adult he joined a group advocating for an improvement in Human conditions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is quite rude, and likes to deride her opponents skill and shout insults at them. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Emeny grew up listening to her father's many stories. Through the years after Emeny was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Emeny's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. During her travels, Emeny and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Emeny discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Emeny fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
