Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Robert was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Emeny was born on a far northern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bather. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She saw the violence of war and the aftermath so she converted to religion and dedicated herself to non-violence.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.
