History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. At a young age her mother died while driving off some dire rats. Her father being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in shield use. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
