History: Joan hails from a village terrorized by goblins. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Seamstress hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by goblins, and she desires to right it

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Roger was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.
