History: Dean was born with his mother's beautiful face. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He has worked as a Stableman like his mother before him.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Stableman responsibilities is difficult.

History: Katherine lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. In her 20th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Marry her brother to traveling adventurers; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is her passion
