History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Hugolina grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Hugolina. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

History: He was born in the west. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist she will grow angry at them.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Through the years after Avelina was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Avelina's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She invented a lineage for herself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Born in the south her family was never financially stable. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and she desires power and/or immortality
