Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He disdains his fellow westerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after Cory was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Cory's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She was granted arcane powers by her dying brother.

History: She comes from a rich northern family. Avice was a troubled youth. She spent her days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent her evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Avice decided she wanted neither the life of her mother nor that of the evil petty criminals she associated with. During her early adolescence, she took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
