Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He will often invite strangers home for dinner and talk their ears off. He cares deeply for his spouse and does his best to make sure his guests look presentable.

History: Theobald was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.

History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. A gifted student he started as a Ruler, but he got bored and became a Layabout. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 14 years.
