History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's also a talented Ploughman, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and balancing his hectic life and new scribe responsibilities is difficult

Personality: She is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as she rather likes the sound of her voice. Her demeanor is somewhat feminine. Further she is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Agatha was born in the west. At a young age she loved to build and create. A serious injury left her father unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm father. She got away from her former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to pay off her debts

History: William hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He always admired arcane-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and a deep hatred of illithids

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the south. After coming to the age of reason, Drogo took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to prove his worth to the world
