History: She was raised happily, as a normal child born to her father and mother. During her travels, Matilda and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Matilda discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Matilda fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: He fancies himself a trickster and likes to rely on his wits to carry the day. He cares for his older siblings and likes to be recognized by them. History: Kyle was born with his father's beautiful face. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jocelyn grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jocelyn.
