History: Ermina hails from a village terrorized by goblins. At a young age her father died while driving off some goblins. Her mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train her in pickaxe use. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Laborer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Soapmaker, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Personality: She does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. She disdains her fellow southerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. When Katherine reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Gilbert was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
