The war was a terrible time for him, and Geoffrey does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his mother. Gerard was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Ploughman. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Carpenter. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
