History: Joan lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Joan was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Joan's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This eastern man wears suspenders and pastel workpants. His shirt is yellow, and he wears a heavy pastel leather apron most of the time. His clothes are grease stained in places. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of black, and is pulled back with small pastel clips. His beard is black, braided, and well cared for. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his hazel eyes.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Tim was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

History: Gifted from a young age, Ahlyssa studied abroad. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Personality: He is a very philanthropic person; he spends his free time working at various soup kitchens. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he is wracked by social anxiety
