History: Ernest was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and balancing his hectic life and new dilettante responsibilities is difficult

History: When she was but 8 years old her parents immigrated from the east. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. Since then, she has sought to make the best of life.
