Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: He was born in the east. A gifted student he started as a Mason, but he got bored and became a Spy. He tends to his Spy job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: She runs her personal life as if detached from it. She organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits she will get from it. She is obsessed with her god.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her father was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She has money and likes to spend it; and she doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes

Description: She likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'10" when asserting herself. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. She has gleaming, smiling blue eyes.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Being born in the east, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the east for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.
