Personality: Emma wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She disdains her fellow northerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Emma's homeland. Emma decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Bowyer who has hired him part-time. A true patriot, Justin would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He bought a quarterstaff and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and he's in love

History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. She always admired divine-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.
