Personality: Dean is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his mother.

History: Born in the west to a Guard, Dean learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He became a Guard soon after.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and to reunite with his old friends

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
