Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. The war was a terrible time for him, and Hugh does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Hugh never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
