Description: A pudgy woman standing about 5'4" has a big stupid grin on her face most of the time. She does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it. Her golden hair is smooth and relatively long. Her ears are large.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-brother.

History: Matilda was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of her. She is by nature obliging.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hugh's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He invites people to come help in his community garden.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'0" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears an entirely white suit with grey socks and a vest with buckled shoes. His chestnut hair is knotted and matted. His eyes are likewise green.

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: When he was but 6 years old his parents immigrated from the south. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother
