Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Odo's homeland. Odo decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
