Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Melissa embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: Born in the north to a Bookbinder, Melissa learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Bookbinder for hire.

Motivation: She uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs; and money/treasure

Description: This man stands a little under 6'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. His red hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He seems to be bored by most things.

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He dresses in collared shirts and wears a proper scarf over his head. He is bald on top and has large blonde tufts of hair around his ears. His eyes are blue and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anthony was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents were killed by goblins in a raid when he was still a young child. The goblins captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and a deep hatred of goblins
