Description: A plain young-adult man, he usually wears his black robe and has his axe always slung over his shoulder. His golden hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'3" when asserting herself. She wears a Stetson hat to cover her moderate length auburn hair. Her eyes are likewise gray. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: She is irascible and easily irritated. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: A middle-aged woman, she wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle, and is pretty ugly. She wears her white hair down. Her eyes are likewise blue. Her teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Rosalind hails from a village terrorized by giants. Through the years after Rosalind was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Rosalind's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Conrad was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.
