Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the west were limited. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Bernard was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: A deep hatred of illithids; and he wants revenge against illithids

Description: Standing 6'5", this man wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Robert lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: A thin woman, she clearly needs to put on some weight, but she still has a lot of muscle. She wears green robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally she wears more armor. She prefers to carry a halberd, but if one is not available she will default to her falchion. Her auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. Her face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is cautious and jumpy. She reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 15th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. Some 9 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Joan never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her son whom she trained as her mother had trained her before.
