History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when drow swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Adelard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He always admired necromantic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Some 6 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Mary never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.
