History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Anselm took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up dagger and armor he uses now. He has never given up on his writing dream.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.
