Personality: Adelard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: Adelard was born the youngest of three triplets. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Adelard and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: Frederick was born in the west. At a young age he loved to build and create. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend; and he's looking for his big break

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Personality: She is a melancholic, but persistent worker. She resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. She has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the south. In her 14th year, while out on a day-trip, she returned to find her hometown burning and destroyed. She found her mother impaled in their home, and her father beheaded. She saw the woman who walked out, and charged her in a blind rage. The woman easily evaded and defeated her, leaving her to live broken and terrified. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: She is terrified, and will act out of fear.
