History: Ida was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Ida took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up glaive and armor she uses now. She has dedicated herself to building a better world.

Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. She has moderate length auburn hair. This amber eyed easterner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Eleanor embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Eleanor was born with her mother's beautiful face. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: Dark and lean, he is a relatively plain man. He wears a well pressed and immaculate suit (or dress). His hair is always cut to a buzz. His violet unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. Shane is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Shane took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother.

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of luck around her neck, and a greataxe on her belt. She has a long red ponytail with little hanging trinkets. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her blue eyes.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Painter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
