When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Interpreter kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and she desires to right it; and balancing her hectic life and new stylist responsibilities is difficult

History: Jacoba lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second son.
