History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Mayor responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. The war was a terrible time for her, and Katherine does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 71. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She works hard and plays hard.

History: Egelina lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.
