Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: Born in the north to a Spice Merchant, Charles learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. His childhood dream was to be a Server, but he was a colossal failure. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Scribe for the past few years.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Sage. She has achieved small success as a Sage.
