History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Manfred grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Manfred. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He tends to be very friendly, and is drawn to music, the smells of food and wine, and out-door festivals.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature greatsword.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 97. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She seeks to pay back kindness whenever she gets the chance. Whether it be in the form of unwanted serenades or the latest gossip she always seeks to do solids for her friends.

History: Eva was born with her father's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Her home and work are filled with various knick knacks she has acquired through the years. She cares a great deal for her adopted teenage daughter.

History: A child with a great deal of singing talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.
