History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She has had some formal singing training, and achieved minor success. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Juliana was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Her first spouse was a Bookbinder, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.
