Personality: Bernard is depressed about a lot of things. He tends to be a nihilist. He can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. During his travels, Nicholas and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Nicholas discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Nicholas fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.
