History: Melissa was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Personality: She is a very philanthropic person; she spends her free time working at various soup kitchens. The war was a terrible time for her, and Emeny does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She tends to her Mortician job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bricklayer arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.
