History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Bernard fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has achieved small success as a Merchant.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion.
