History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Her father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her father was legitimate. After a long history of fighting, Elizabeth and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Description: A 4'9" southern woman, she very much looks the part of a Carter. She wears a broad hat to hide her balding. Her violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She can see the true alignment of people by looking at them, and uses this to pass judgement.

History: Born in the south to a Carter, Mary learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Human companion (her 'brother'). She now spends her time doing works of charity.

Motivation: She feels that her past leaves her morally obligated to help; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
