History: Eleanor hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In her 12th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Eleanor alone in the world. History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.
