Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alex's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Alex and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Human culture. A true patriot, Anne would do anything for her country. She is fiercely protective of her fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.
