Description: He does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'4" when asserting himself. He wears his white hair up in a very large beehive style do. His violet eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Conrad embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: She is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends she is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy herself. She is stubborn though. She always likes to keep a trick up her sleeve. She likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if she feels she even has a chance of losing.

History: Melissa was born the youngest of three triplets. Her father disappeared, and while she tried to raise money to find her father, she was betrayed dozens of times. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Soapmaker they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Norman was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs
