Through the years after Helen was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Helen's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Ella was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Personality: He is a Spy first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
