History: Born in the east to a Mason, John learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He moved out north to avoid the crime he committed. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She comes from a rich western family. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and she uses money and sex appeal to get what she needs

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Cursed with unlife at a very young age, John has worked very hard to control his curse. He was forced to fight in gladiatorial arenas alongside his partner. They became the best of friends and one day they managed to break out together and then went their separate ways.
