Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed kukri, just in case. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His mother raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Bernard alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She always admired psionic-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Courier they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Marshal, and she later adopted a second daughter.
