History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Her half smiles and violet eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. A freak accident while working with her Dilettante mother left her crippled. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

His face is feral with sharp distinguishing features. His spectacle hidden eyes are a deep amber.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.
